It is always better to give than to receive...Deliciously Happy

One of my favorite art collaborators, Lindsey Bailey, and her students need our help. They need supplies for 12 remaining workshops as well as transportation for the students to attend the gallery reception at Belmont University. At the gallery reception, the student participants can see their work and speak with the people attending the event. Your contribution will also help with culminating event costs, like installation lighting, projection equipment, community invitations and to publish a book, including all of the lesson plans, example artwork, and documentation; and the student, educator, and community responses to the projects. This book will be made available to schools and organizations so that more youth can participate in performance-based workshops.

The way Kickstarter campaigns work...well...if by November 27th the campaign does not reach its $4,000 goal (only $470 NEEDED), it will not be funded AT ALL. I hope you can make a small donation this holiday season to MAKE THINGS HAPPEN!

Happiest of Holidays...thanks for giving!

Singing this holiday season!

Buddy: The best way to spread Christmas Cheer, is singing loud for all to hear.
Jovie: Thanks, but I don't sing.
Buddy: Oh, well, it's just like talking, except longer and louder, and you move your voice up and down.
Jovie: I *can* sing, I just choose *not* to sing. Especially in front of other people.
Buddy: If you can sing alone, you sing in front of other people. There's no difference.
Jovie: Actually, there's a BIG difference.
Buddy: No there's not. Wait...
[Starts singing loud and off-key]
Buddy: I'm singing/I'm in a store/and I'm siiiiiingiiiiing!/I'm in a store/and I'm siiiiiingiiiiing!
