A & L's Holiday Hot Dog and Art Stand
When my sister Leslie and I were kids, we use to set up our own hot dog stand and call it A & L's Hot Dog Stand. I think my mom got a kick out of giving us multiple packages of hot dogs to boil and grill...it kept us busy for a while. Funny thing is, we were always selective about who actually got to eat our hot dogs and when. To celebrate the hot dog stand and my mom this season, I have created HOT DOG paintings with 50% of the proceeds going to American Cancer Society.
These paintings portray different types of dogs wearing everything from "footie-PJs" to "Ma in her kerchief." Contact me for viewings and appointments.
Celebrate the season and help me in finding a cure!

The Busiest Time of the Year
2006 has been the busiest year yet for me as an artist, curator, consultant and facilitator. I can't thank everyone enough for the wonderful opportunities. Thanks for an outstanding year and for all of your support this year!
I am excited to offer 50% OFF my current work at my studio until the end of the year. If you have thought about a piece of my artwork before, this is your month. For the entire month of December, all of the paintings in my studio will be 50% OFF. Please contact me today to make an appointment to come by.
If you can't make it by the studio, let me know which piece of artwork you are interested in, and I can send you a digital image to view. I can also ship anywhere in the USA. Throughout the month of December you can find my work at Art & Invention Gallery (Nashville, TN), TWIST Art Gallery (Nashville, TN), The Gallery at 916 (Bowling Green, KY), and my studio, The Morris Alley Loft Studio (Historic Downtown Bowling Green, KY).

Frist Bollards on display NOW
Saturday, Nov. 4th, the Frist (Nashville, TN) celebrated local artists through a juried process to paint one of their ten outdoor bollards. The bollard creations will remain on display throughout the holidays.
Andee's bollard design celebrates childhood memories...those memories of the holidays - the brightest and boldest holiday memories in our lives. The design celebrates Andee's mom, who made the holidays everyday in the Rudloff home.
Thank you to the Frist Center for the Visual Arts for this exciting Public Art opportunity!
Please swing by the Demonbreun side entrance of the Frist to see my creation.

Andee's Artwork on Book Cover
Making Lesbians Visible in the Substance Use Field
Edited by Elizabeth Ettore, PhD, BA
This book presents a "lesbian sensitive" perspective to addiction through the counselors and therapists, community nurses, healthcare workers at treatment and rehabilitation centers, and students in psychology, sociology and nursing fields. Through critical social research paradigms, the book provides a better understanding of the misjudged and misunderstood women who have lived in society's shadows. This book transforms obsolete ideas, beliefs and practices, offering a perspective that has been missing from the field of substance abuse.

Plowhaus is FIVE years old!
"IT's PLOWRAGEOUS"
our 5th Anniversary Show Party Event, celebrating artists the same night as ARTRAGEOUS
Saturday - November 11th 2006 7pm - 11pm
with live music by Carrie Mills and East Nashville Cat House Blues and Good Time Boogie Band
Five years later...against all odds, we are still here!! To celebrate the occasion all of the alumni and present artists have been asked to put one piece on display for one weekend. This show will honor the artists that kept the Plowhaus going, for without them there wouldn't have been an artist co-op.
In light of the tragedy of 9-11, three artists stood outside a small store front on S. 17th St. in East Nashville, and made a promise to each other and themselves that they would stay close to home and work with local artists to start a grass roots artists' co-op, run and operated by local artists. From that day Plowhaus started to grow and it keeps growing. We started with a handful of artists, many of them have gone on to great success as Painters, Printmakers, Fabric Artists, Photographers, and Musicians!
Now Plowhaus has gained its 501(c)3 (non-profit) status, has over 80 members and occupies a 2000 sq. ft of space that they allow other artist groups to use such as: Untitled, SNAP, and The Plate Tone Printmakers.
It has been said by many " it's the coolest art space in town."
This Event is to show our community how grateful we are for their support over the years and to congratulate ourselves for the hard work we have done and continue to do in order to keep Plowhaus your local artists' coop going. There are over 100 artists in this show, including a lot of the original members:
J.D. Wilkes, Lesley Paterson-Marx, Franne Lee, Stacey Irvin, Bryce McCloud, Julie Sola, Eric England, Lynn Taylor, Keith Harmon, Sheila B., Annie Friedman, Joe Hardwick, Erika Wollam-Nichols, Lain York, Brittany Conners, Robert Vore, Joni Bishop. Tiffany Dyer-Denton, Jeff Frazier, Ali Bellos, Andee Rudloff, Patricia Earnhardt, Jennifer Quigley, Asia Mathis, Raeanne Rubinstein and many more!
You are invited to come celebrate with us!!
Show can be viewed...

My sweet friend, Patrick Fleming
Patrick Fleming July 21, 1970 - September 23, 2006
I have lost a dear friend, Patrick Fleming.
Patrick and I became friends while at a summer camp for young gifted artists when we were 15 years old. We spent years as pen pals, writing and drawing and creating things for one another...trusting the mail would alter them in all of the right ways...and then safely deliver the creation to the other's doorstep.
Away at college we learned, traveled and continued to create.
Soon after graduating, Patrick began to travel the world of fashion as I painted walls and paintings.
We met celebrities, sat atop buildings in NYC, and never ran out of ways to inspire each other.
Patrick passed away in late September...it was his dear heart. I know...we will run together again someday.
I will miss his endless energy and original ideas. I will miss him dearly. Patrick's energy will continue to inspire me!
There will be a memorial service for Patrick at his apartment in Brooklyn on Saturday, October 28th from 2pm to 6pm.
