Bowling Green PBR Art

A unique exhibition of artists utilizing PBR is part of the Bowling Green Gallery Hop Friday, June 1st from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.  Everyone is invited to join the artists and community supporters at Yellowberri for the BG Gallery Hop to see the Bowling Green PBR Art with BigHead Studios.  It's sure to be an interesting time! Allen County Community Mural

Come participate Saturday, June 9th in Scottsville, KY!!  The Laura Goad Turner, SKyPAC, Heart of Scottsville and Allen County Schools Community Mural will take place Saturday, June 9th from 11am-3pm at Haven 4 Change located at 49 Hillview Dr. Scottsville KY 42164. Kentucky Derby Bow Ties

Kentucky Derby jockeys are known for their colorful silks.  Fifteen silks of Kentucky Derby winners are featured in 5 inch by 5 inch bow tie paintings by andee.  Big Brown, Seattle Slew, Giacomo, Smarty Jones and more have their winning silks interpreted as a bow tie at Bryant Gallery's 1 year birthday celebration.  Don't miss it!

SKyPAC is open!!!

Over the past few months, I have been part of a small team of dedicated people opening an art center in Bowling Green, KY. SKyPAC!!! Now, we have officially been open 30 days and I feel I can safely say...WE DID IT!!! There is a lot of work yet to do to get programs up and running...but the shows are happening! I hope you will come by and see us. SKyPAC (Southern Kentucky Performing Arts Center) is located at 601 College Street in Bowling Green, KY 42101. Located along the north end of State Street, it was placed on the National Register and stands as a physical reminder of the accomplishments the community made during times of social and economic hardship. One of my favorite art collaborators, Lindsey Bailey, and her students need our help. They need supplies for 12 remaining workshops as well as transportation for the students to attend the gallery reception at Belmont University. At the gallery reception, the student participants can see their work and speak with the people attending the event. Your contribution will also help with culminating event costs, like installation lighting, projection equipment, community invitations and to publish a book, including all of the lesson plans, example artwork, and documentation; and the student, educator, and community responses to the projects. This book will be made available to schools and organizations so that more youth can participate in performance-based workshops.

Photography exhibition at Studio East Nashville

The f-Stops Here welcomes the photonomad and Studio East Nashville founder Stacey Irvin as well as photogirls Laura Carpenter (Vanderbilt sociology professor), Emily Naff (Nashville State photography professor), Kay Ramming (Cheekwood and alt. process photographer), Wendy Whittemore (owner of Aerial Innovations and horse lover) and Andee Rudloff (Education Director, SKyPAC and exhibition curator). Juror Sharon Lee Hart, photography professor at the University of Kentucky, enjoyed the opportunity to view and choose the images in the show, so it is a MUST see...hope to see you there!

Pie House Studio Open House Friday 11-11-11

Pie House Studio is Andee's studio located at 556 Morris Alley in downtown Bowling Green, KY. Andee will host an Open Studio for guests and patrons from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. on Friday, November 11th, 2011. Fun art and affordable prices with lots of art $111 and under! Hope to see you Friday!

Inglewood Mural Contest

Andee is the winner of the Inglewood Mural Contest! She will complete a 30' by 11' mural on the front of the M&M Furniture building at the corner of McGavock and Riverside in Nashville, TN. Come by and see it going up...or stop by after it is complete in early June 2011.
