The mission of P.L.E.A.S.E.S. is for every young female between the ages of 10-19 to have the opportunity for life-building growth. This program helps young females and enables them to grow into being positive independent women.

P.L.E.A.S.E.S. strives to provide hope. More importantly they are shown someone in the community truly cares about their interests.

Started by Aretha Howard in 1996, Howard had a dream to start a non-profit organization helping the girls of today live for tomorrow. Howard, a young mother at fourteen, understands the pressures and struggles on young women today.

P.L.E.A.S.E.S. is hosting an art event and reception in support of their programming and summer camp Friday, June 1st.

Artists include: Ali Bellos, Franne Lee, Beth Seiters, Jimi Benedict, Tiffany Denton, Eric Denton, Shana Kohnstamm, Kathy Townsend , Danielle Duer, Andee Rudloff, Jodi Reeves, and many more!
