Full of some highs and real painful lows, 2013 was challenging, but I made it! WKU Photojournalism student Shelley Owens shadowed me for the final few days before the holidays when I was really exhausted. Shelley Owens' image features my silhouette as I was preparing the gallery for a tour of A Journey Home. A Journey Home is a photographic exhibition telling the story of Kentucky foster families and children looking for their forever home. The exhibition was organized by SKyPAC, features almost 20 professional photographers in the region and is SKyPAC's first touring exhibition
Onward and upward in 2014! Getting it started right, some of my paintings and the KayBob's mural will be featured in a film, I've been asked to design the stage for Bowling Green's first Idea Festival, and I'm looking into starting an artist retreat and residency space featuring multiple Tiny houses.
Making THINGS happen is my goal for 2014! All the best to everyone in the New Year!
