Scare-Cake lurks at Cheekwood through Nov. 9

Cheekwood Art & Gardens in Nashville, TN, welcomes the popular SCARECROW exhibition back again this year. Visitors will see MANY crow-creations at Cheekwood from September 27 to November 9, 2008. Big and small, frightening and silly - you will even see a female, robot with a soundtrack "playing a part" in this year's exhibition.
Andee has created Scare-Cake for the 2008 Scarecrow exhibition...be careful, you may get icing in the eye.

FINE CONTEMPORARY CRAFTS CALL FOR ENTRIES
Deadline: October 1. Fee: $30. Artspace invites craftspeople and artists working in a variety of craft media to enter Fine Contemporary Crafts, a biennial juried exhibition. Studio Tour Ticket Purchase Options:
1. Online: After Sept. 2nd, Advance Tour Tickets can be purchased online for $10 - we accept all major credit cards through Google Checkout. Online purchasers can download and print the trou map; they can also pick their map up at the Preview Exhibition or from Belmont's Leu Center on the day of the tour.
2. Preview Party: Tickets will be for sale at the Preview Exhibition for $10 (cash or check only).
3. On Day of Event: Tickets will be available for $12 from 10am - 2pm on the day of the event at Belmont's Leu Center for Visual Arts.
4. Complimentary Admission: The tour is FREE for kids and teenagers under 18 years of age and for art students at the following universities: Watkins, Vanderbilt, TSU, MTSU, APSU, Belmont, Sewanee. Students can pick up maps at Preview Exhibition or at Belmont's Leu Center on the day of the tour.
